Can we get an update on this? It will become an issue for us very soon.
Cosmos db linux emulator doesn't work on some intel chips on ubuntu 20.04( works on ubuntu 18.04). Will it be fixed before ubuntu 18.04 will be deprecated?
Hi, the problem that i have and many people have is that linux cosmos db emulator works only on ubuntu 18.04.
On newer version like 20.04 works only on certain cpus.
Example of cpu that fail is for example Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8272CL CPU @ 2.60GHz

2022-11-07T20:37:05.007+00:00 Sorry for the delay in response to your question.
I was able to check this internally with our product group and seems like This is currently a known product gap that we have in our backlog. Currently no public facing ETA we can share with the for now, but we will share on Azure updates when this will be available.

2023-01-26T08:29:55.24+00:00 Hi,
as the ubuntu-18.04 is going to be unsupported soon, are there any updates regarding ETA?
This is a very important issue, as we cannot run integration tests when the ubuntu agent isn't supported anymore.
Best Regards,
Wendelin

2023-01-26T22:38:25.3533333+00:00 Can you try making an ETA? On 1st April the emulator will stop working
In April once people azure pipelines will stop working there will be more comments about this topic.
I think it would be good to at least try to define ETA at this point.
