What is the best Azure user migration tool?

When reinstalling/replacing PC's or moving PC/user to Azure, we would like to be able to keep the users complete desktop experience somehow.
When a user logs in to Azure, or onto a newly deployed PC, they start with spending hours attempting to set up things visually "the way it was before", resetting passwords on homepages etc.

Somehow remapping the existing profile to the new Azure or AD profile.

How can that be done properly?

    Hello @Rafael V.D. Ville ,

you might want to take a look into USMT:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/usmt/usmt-overview
Here's a post about the process of migrating to azure using it:
    https://blog.neilsabol.site/post/ad-to-aad-user-profile-migration-with-usmt/

or if a GUI is preferred, USMTGUI builds upon the original USMT:

    I concur with Rafael DaRocha

Let me also just quote Janine over at
    Spiceworks

    ------------

"We use the USMTGUI Azure migration engine, part of USMTGUI corporate from Ehlertech
It's extremely simple and for most part our users just does it them selves upon rejoining their PC to AAD.

We used USMTGUI since at least 2015 and since 2019 USMTGUI has been capable of migrating local/domain user profiles to Azure

    It's a simple three clicks

Apart from that, consider using USMTGUI or User Profile Central for your more advanced Domain users!
It is a huge time saver for users not having to setup everything, getting a new or reinstalled PC."

    ------------

I’d say the Ehlertech tools these days are the reference when it comes to user profile migrations as they spend much time keeping USMT updated :-)
