How to style Bing Maps to see address(house) numbers directly on a map?

According to the documentation there is an 'address' style property.

But when setting 'visible' and 'labelVisible' 'true' for it, address(house) numbers do not show up on a map.

Currently address points are only part of the data used by the Windows control, Android, and iOS control. Your style sheet should work for those controls, but not for the web control. If you're using the Map Style Sheet application you can see how a style customization looks on each of the map controls including the web control.

Bing Maps doesn't have house number data in the base maps. So, styling for that won't help.

No. Bing Maps and Azure Maps use the same base maps.

Ah, that looks to be very new functionality on the Bing Maps consumer site. Those don't even appear in the Bing Maps developer APIs. It's possible that it may be made available in Azure Maps in the future (unlike to be added to the Bing Maps developer APIs since those use raster tiles mainly and as per Duncan, the stylesheets don't support house numbers outside of the native controls). That said, the Bing Maps consumer site also uses a lot of additional data that cannot be used in the developer APIs due to licensing restrictions from data providers.
