Will VS ever go back to working as advertised

So I waited for 5 mins for Hot Reload to init. After that time I just gave up as it 90% of the time does nothing.
So now the project loads and I could debug.
Ok so go back to setting and enable Hot Reload.
F5 but no Hot Reload init.
Restart VS.
Check settings and it is set on.
F5 and again no Hot Reload.
Every day is like this. VS just does whatever it wants. Some days it works some it doesn't. I have documented lots of problems with VS but it seems to get worse with every release. The fact that it is not even consistent in what it does makes it some days impossible to use.
Love when F5 sometimes gives one of those impossible to see why errors and the next F5 (no changes made) will execute.
Along with these errors the fact that there is no designer and we are supposed to rely on Hot Reload can someone point me to a better development application?

Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 (64-bit) - Preview Version 17.4.0 Preview 2.1for testing Hot-Reload, and it worked fine on Android, iOS and Windows.For further investigation, could you please provide exact repro steps, expected behavior, and how does that differs from the actual behavior. Remove unnecessary properties and xaml, etc. Please also include what platforms (Android, iOS, WinUI) you see this on, and the MAUI (not VS) versions you're using.

2022-10-26T14:04:20.45+00:00 I think that some of the problems with Hot Reload are that I am using some 3rd party controls that the native controls do not have. Seems like controls that are contained within those 3rd party controls have a hard time with Hot Reload. I have sent those providers the same problem .
