Hello,
The error may indicate that there is an issue with the hardware during the execution of that application. In case of happening during a game play, most likely will be related to electricity draw from the power supply, a driver issue (some graphic enhancements may require newer drivers for that specific game), and less likely a real damaged component.
My suggestion would be the next:
-First, try to reduce the quality settings of the game, or disable some enhancements, like hi-res textures, V-Sync, or similar and see if it reporoduces the issue.
From the system prespective:
-Update the BIOS and the drivers for the motherboard chipset.
-Update all the hardware drivers (GPU for instance), if updates are available from your manufacturer.
-Check the temperature level inside the computer to make sure your processor and related peripherals are not overheating.
-Check the fan on your CPU to make sure it is properly attached to the CPU.
-If you have overclocked your CPU or made changes on the BIOS settings, reset your settings to the default settings or load a default profile of the BIOS
-Ensure that the Power Supply is enough for all the components when running at maximum performance.
