Publisher is messed up in Windows 11

You used to be able to drop .jpg graphics into Publisher screens/documents and then enlarge them on the page. Now they not only won't drop onto the page accurately, they are not able to move into the document. You can select them to move, but when dragging they snap back into the original position when they opened--usually to the lower right screen. You are not able to drag and position them at all.

Publisher is a great document if you can't financially afford adobe products. I have created a lot of lower-end logos and graphics to use as a teacher. I never had this problem in Windows 10.

Also the enlarge/reduce option is completely useless if you are trying to do this on a laptop without a mouse. It jumps in increments of 5% when you may need less/more than that to fit a document on your screen where it is legible.

I need my Windows 11 publisher to work like Windows 10 immediately (if not sooner). These issues make it unusable. Thank you.

Since this problem start in Windows 11, I advise you to open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue. Also update Windows , Office and your Graphic card driver.

I am having the same issue, but I'm using Publisher 365 and Windows 11. We have tried updating the ViewSonic monitor driver and that has not fixed the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I also have this issue. Whenever I try to move images or add images they "snap" out into the "Scratch Area." This is a real problem as my organization has many large projects in publisher. Please help.
