Direct reportees on GAL (Outlook) shows different result in Hybrid Exchange

Hi Team,
We have Hybrid exchange in place. Direct reportees on Outlook GAL shows different for users whose mailbox on O365 and for users whose mailbox on On premise Exchange. I know that this actually comes from AD but not sure why it is differing in this case. We have tried downloading offline address book but with no luck.

- Does this Exchange online mailbox created on Exchange online or migrated to Exchange online?
- Whether the Exchange on-premises synced to Exchange online?
- Which mailbox's Direct reporter those two mailboxes checked?

-Yes Exchange On premise/AD is synced to Exchange Online.Which mailbox's Direct reporter those two mailboxes checked?
-Not sure i understand the question.There's more to this. When i do get-azureaduserdirectreport - i could see it is reflected. But when i do get-user -identity xxxx | select directreport on Exchange Online i could see it is not populating the correct list for those two users. So Azure AD gets it correct but Exchange Online isn't

If so, I would suggest you remove Manager from Exchange on-premises, then check whether Exchange online mailbox's Direct reporter also be removed. Then try to add those value again.

I meant those two mailboxes have got different direct reportees in Exchange On prem and Exchange On line They both are the managers, so people reporting them showing different between exchange on prem and Exchange Online.
I will try to add them manually and see what is happening.
