How to put the new connector line in the top menu bar as default

Now I got the correct connector but: how can I assure that when I push the connector in the top menu bar that would present the connetor I have edited in the stencil. Because there are appr 5 - 6 connector line in the stencil and I can noot get the edited if I push the button in the top?

    Could you please tell us which Stencil you point that includes the 5-6 connector lines? Maybe you could add a screenshot to show more information about your question.
    The edited connector is included in your current Visio files, although it is not the general "default", you would get it when you going to Home tab, Connector in Tools group.

    Please note, if you create a new Visio file based the same template, the connector would be the previous one, not the one you have edited. You may modify the Dynamic Connector again.
    Or you could refer to this article "Create a custom connector", to add your custom connector into your Favorites stencil. Before adding a connector, please select it.
