All onedrive files missing

I moved my samsung cloud over to onedrive some time ago when samsung cloud was ending and recently got a message to subscribe to onedrive to maintain access to my files. Yesterday I subscribed to the 100Gb option and now all of my files are missing. Where are they and how do I get help?

    Whether you can find the missing files in the Recycle Bin of OneDrive.
    Also, you can try to restore OneDrive, please refer to this link: restore-your-onedrive

    It turns out that when I created my subscription, it defaulted to a OneDrive associated with my Gmail and not the one attached to my phone number (both are asociated with my mobile number). I was able to eventually sign out and unlink from my phone so that I could purchase a subscription for the correct account. I'm still baffled how this happened as I can't recall setting up a OneDrive associated with my Gmail account...
