Can use custom font as a fallback font

I installed a custom font which can show word code in Extend F, I wanna use it as a fallback font.

I set Font 'Microsoft Yahei UI' as the default font. If then default font cannot show the word code in Extend F, the custom font can used to show it.

but it faild, The custom font is ok, because I set the custom font as the default font, it can show he word code in Exten F.

I guess the font is not in the Simplified Chinese category,Is that so, How Can I put the custom font in Simplified Chinese category.

    Please try the following procedures using your current documents:

    1. Select all text in Word.
    2. Click the Language icon after selecting the REVIEW tab.
    3. Set Proofing Language should be chosen.
    4. Deselect "Detect language automatically" and then select your desired language.

    This should ideally be configured in the document template you use when creating new papers. In the event that your template employs styles, you can specify the language for each style and deselect the checkbox to avoid language detection.
