Installation of SSIS extension for Visual Studio 2019 fails

I have installed VS Professional 2019 v. 16.6.0 .
I could install Microsoft Analysis Projects extension but the installation of the SQL Server Integration Services Extension failed.

I have restarted twice the workstation, but every attempt to install the extension starts – as displayed in the screenshot - with no other option than closing the installation. ( the checkbox can not be selected). Thank you.

    Hi AlexeMihai,

Please open visual studio installer, and check visual studio professional has been installed completely on your machine.

If it is like this in visual studio installer, please click "Resume" to finish installing.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.
I must assume that the Visual Studio Professional has been installed completely and successfully on my machine, as I was able to install the Analysis Services Projects extension.

It failed - as described above - with the installation of the SQL Server Integration Services Extension and the worst part is, that it lefts me stucked, with no option of retrying the installation of this extension.

Thank you for any help that can solve this issue.

    Hi

    Thank you for your answer.
We've a packaged release for VS 2019. ( One of my mates installed it and the SSIS extension successfully).

We've uninstalled and installed VS 2019, but the installation of the SSIS extension fails again.
We've attached the log file ( saved as txt. as .log files are not allowed).

Thank you so much for your help.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.
I belong to a big organisation, and such products like VS , are 'packaged' for us. Then after an approval process, the download and installation process is made from the company's 'software center' .

The error has been reproduced and acknowledged in other environments as well - at least within our company - but also others seem to log the same issue in this thread.

It seems , that the it guys responsible for this , are almost ready // have already prepared a package that should fix this issue.
