windows transfer wizard:
Microsoft, I need a way to transfer all my data from my old PC (Windows 7) to my new PC (Windows 10) have a huge windows easy file transfer on an external drive waiting to be downloaded. If I would have known I could have transferred data prior to upgrading to 10.

Please let me know how to fix.

    Follow the steps:

    • You just need to Right-click on the Desktop and select New. After that, choose Shortcut from the pop-up menu.
    • You have to enter fsquirt in the text box where you have asked Type the location of the item and then click Next.

    fsquirt

    • In the subsequent window, the default name will be displayed in the given space of Type a name for this shortcut.
    • You can leave the default name as it is or else give any name as per your wish and then click Finish.
    • Ultimately, the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard shortcut is now created in your Windows 10 desktop.
    • You can access the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard with the use of this shortcut icon at any instance.

    Windows Easy Transfer is not available in Windows 10. However, Microsoft has partnered with Laplink to bring you PCmover Express—a tool for transferring selected files, folders, and more from your old Windows PC to your new Windows 10 PC.

    The following article talking about transferring Windows 7 Files to Windows 10 with Windows Easy Transfer tool, you could have a look.

    They copied the whole C:\Windows\System32\migwiz folder to the same USB drive and then running migwiz.exe on Windows 10 from the USB drive.
