How do I create a Two Factor Authentication (2FA) when I log in to my Azure VM via Microsoft Remote Desktop application?

Thanks a lot

    Hi,

Yes you can do that via the MFA and Radius setup - howto-mfaserver-nps-rdg

    Hope this helps.

The link provided by JS is to setup via MFA authentication server which will be deprecated in Sept 2024... though you'd still have a bit of time until this will be no longer...
I'd suggest using this method: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/authentication/howto-mfa-nps-extension-rdg
Just need to ensure accounts are licensed with an Azure AD P1/2 license or with a plan that includes it
