Minimum number of IP address when installing AKS on HCI

Folks,
I'm looking to install AKS on HCI and don't have the 256 IP addresses recommended at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/aks/hybrid/system-requirements?tabs=allow-table plus this is only a single node install. I plan to use DHCP for my virtual network configuration.

Given my lack of addresses, how small can I make the following:

  1. K8sNodeIpPool start and end addresses?
  2. vipPoolStart - vipPoolEnd addresses?

    Hi @Lisa Lownds ,

I think that is the recommendation of 256 IP addresses, however for your single node AKS you can get away with 15 IP addresses at a max. Check the scenario listed in this article as Jane is planning to deploy a AKS node cluster and she is using up around 32 IPs.

    Hope this helps.
