Hi Microsoft.

As you might be aware of, edge has different deployment channels. As of today, you allow users to download edge 85.0.564.63.
However, WSUS is unable to deploy that at the same day and gets it only days later, leaving systems vulnerable.
Why is that?

Please confirm, that as of today, https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=edge%20stable shows Build 85.0.564.51 to be the latest available for WSUS import.

I hope that this is just an oversight which you will correct immediately.

    Hi @MTG ,

The edge update released on the catalog is just for personal. Based on the safety, Microsoft test if the update is safe so that we could deploy the update to company by WSUS. Besides, the update has different deployment channels mentioned between catalog and WSUS. So we could get it only days later. Thanks for your understanding.

    Hi.

No, I don't understand. If as you say, Microsoft "test if the update is safe", that would mean, for personal use, they don't assure safety. Or is that what you are trying to say?
Also, enterprises may decide to deploy the MSI version at any time, which is the same as the end user version and higher than the catalogue - why aren't those "edge for enterprise MSIs "tested for safety"? (sorry, just following your words).

[By the way, the updated version has made it to WSUS by now, but with previous versions, I have seen delays of more than a day.]
