How to get bounding boxes of characters from Azure OCR (Microsoft Read OCR)

Hi all,

Sorry if this question has an obvious answer but I can't figure it out using just the documentation. I have gotten the OCR engine the work and it works great! But the results I get from AnalyzeResults.ReadResults contain information about the pages, lines and words. However, for my application purposes, I would like to get the bounding boxes from the individual characters that form the words. Is there a built-in way to get these, and if not, does anyone maybe have an idea how I could get these?

@Daniel Mol Thanks for the question. Can you please share the output that you are getting.
The printed and handwritten text (READ API):
->Returns the bounding box of the whole text
->Inside it, returns the bounding box of each single line and similarly inside it returns each single text with its bounding box.
->The READ API also gives the text in a line together too, hence providing ease in reading.

Currently bounding box for individual characters are not returned will support in the near future. I have forwarded it to the team.

@Ramr-msft Thank you for your reply. Good to know that individual bounding boxes are not currently supported. For now a work around for me would be to get approximate width of the bounding boxes from the font size, but I do not seem to be able to get the font from the READ API. The closest I get is the Style.Name property, but this only returns "handwriting" or "other", which are not very helpful for my purposes... Do you maybe know if there is a way to use the READ API to get this information?
