I was wondering if there is a way we can separate our msix app attach applications from our session hosts.
My goal is to have session hosts that our users connect to and work from, but have some applications that are only accessible from a workspace and not also mounted to the session hosts.
I am not sure if it would be best to create a separate host pool with the applications I want and only grant my desired users access to the application group and not the session hosts and then a separate workspace with the session hosts users can access, or if there’s a better way to achieve that separation.

    Hi,

MSIX packages can be added to "Remote App" app group and users/groups can be assigned to the same. This should allow the separation of the MSIX apps. (Session hosts gets MSIX apps mounted from a shared locations based on the assignment). Have these steps been tried already ? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/app-attach-azure-portal

MSIX app attach feature purpose is in fact to separate apps from session hosts.

Tari, I feel that is what I did but I’m still able to view the aps in my session hosts. I created a separate app group from the DAG group and made it of type Remote App, but I’m still able to see my MSIX apps from the session hosts within the host pool. Any advise?
