I have 4 monitors for my laptop. I understand that you can go into the display settings and physical move the different monitors to correctly mirror your layout.

I would like to change the identity of each individual monitor in its absolute position.

For example, Looking at my display from the left side to the right side. The current ID has them as 3-4-1-2 Monitor 4 is main display.
I want them to be in numerical order, so I need to be able to change the ID.
So i would want monitor 3 to be ID as monitor 1, monitor 4 to be ID as monitor 2, 1 to 3 and 2 to 4. So looking at them from left to right they would be in numerical order have the ID 1-2-3-4.

Anyone have any idea if this is possible?

The ID number of the monitor is determined by the port that it's plugged into on your computer. Therefore the only way to change their ID number would be to swap the ports around until they're numbered how you would like them to be.

I hope this answers your question.
