Wrong phone number in Authenticator

I used my iPhone in 2 countries: China and USA by simply switching SIM card around. My Chinese phone number was registered in my Authenticator app. I came back to USA before Pandemic, and was not able to go to China for 3 years and my Chinese phone number was expired. Now I am not able to access my security or update my password due to two way authentication that requires code that would be sent to my lost Chinese phone number. How do I fix this issue?

Thank you Patrick for your answer. I forgot to mention one more thing, I don't know when it happened, but my Authenticator now is my work email account not my personal account. But if I add personal account, it asks me to verify myself with texting code to my old phone number, hence the dead cycle
