Fill in option missing

Question

I created a field in a list as a Choice with the dropdown selection. I checked the box for Allow fill in choices. However when I go to create a new item in the list the fill in text box is missing. I've opened the list in InfoPath and published it.

Are you using SharePoint online?

According to my tests, I still cannot reproduce the problem.

Please try to delete and recreate this column, or test in another list.

If this problem persists, I suggest you create service requests to contact Office 365 support.
