can I save 2016 visio diagrams to sharepoint ?

when I try to export the file as "web pages" to the sharepoint site I'm getting "there was an error creating a file" error that provides no more details
can someone help with more information or an insight into how to fix this or whether it's a bug in visio and maybe some workaround exists

    Do you "Save As" to save Visio diagrams as web pages to SharePoint site?

    Based on my test, I can reproduce this issue as following image.

    If possible, I suggest you save Visio diagrams to SharePoint in Web Drawing in (*.vdw) format.
    For more details, please check "Roadmap: Publish Visio drawings to a SharePoint site".

    Or you can save as web pages to local folder, then uploade to your SharePoint site.
