I am attempting to create a DP and It looks as though I have accidentally deleted Package ID that contains ccmsetup.exe is there a way to create this and also remove the reference to the old package that is failing since the content is no longer thear?

    Hi @David Heinz ,

To narrow down the problem, we may need more information.

According to your description, the package that has been removed may be the Configuration Manager Client Piloting package. This package is used to pre-upgrade test clients during site upgrade, the source files are located Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\StagingClient. Besides, how was this package removed? I tried remove it manually, but the package cannot be removed.

Note: I am using domain admin, but this package still cannot be removed.

You don't seem to have deleted Package ID that contains ccmsetup.exe. My environment is also the only two packages here.

In my experience, the package you mentioned is contained inside the Configuration Manager Client Package.

Sometimes when creating a new DP, it will show a failure in the console because the xxx00003 package is not installed. But this package is part of Configuration Manager Client Package.

You can check the status of the Configuration Manager Client Package and redistribute the package.
