Hi,

I tried to configure AD-Connect using both the methods. On "Customize", I get error message right after hitting install.
On choosing "Express settings" option, I was able to enter global administrator credentials and also could add on-prem admin credentials further but got error message again on click install at the last step.

Full Error message: "Unable to install the Synchronization Service. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. | The request is not supported.
Please see the application and system event logs for additional details.

What to do next:
No specific information for this failure is available. Examine the log for additional details.
Click retry or re-run this wizard to try the integration again.

    Hi,

Can you check if you have fulfilled the pre-requisites - Azure AD Connect depends on Microsoft PowerShell 5.0 and .NET Framework 4.5.1. You need this version or a later version installed on your server.

Also confirm and check if TLS1.2 is enabled via the powershell script in this link has all the details. how-to-connect-install-prerequisites

    Hope this helps.

Chances are your account has this membership but not the associated token. The fix is possibly quite simple: Log off and log on again.
