We have a Microsoft Azure environment and would like to use WUSU How and where do I begin ?

So yeah as the question states when I setup laptops I connect them to our Azure network. It seems a lot of bandwidth on our network is windows updates related so we would like to setup WUSU so we can control when these updates are deployed but not sure where to begin as we don't have active directory. Any hints or tips as to where to start ??

to clarify, you are using AzureAD join for your devices? If this is correct, you can use Intune to manage updates on these devices using Windows Update for Business:
