I have embedded a Power BI report into a Teams channel. However, the team members have to request access from me to view it. Is it possible to give everyone in the team automatic access to an embedded report? I see that I can create a share link; however, this doesn't allow them to click the tab at the top of Teams - they'd have to use the link. And I don't want to have to give each one of them direct access.
How did you embed the report? Did you create a workspace in Power BI?
I added a tab to the team channel and selected the Power BI report that is within My Workspace in Power BI.
1) If you go to the Workspace on https://app.powerbi.com:
2) Next, go to Access in top right:
3) Enter the Team name (search for the Team name that you added the tab to) and choose "Viewer" access > Click Add:

I don't think you can use My workspace
Thanks for this solution. I'm not going to recreate the entire automation and report that I've created already under a different workspace. However, I was able to find a different solution in the meantime - I was able to give direct access to a contact group email address for the company and now individual members have access.
