It depends...
You need to check and test the applications that are running on the machine.
For example, the latest Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) v.18.12.1 is still dependent on the MSXML 3.0 Please see below.
Just testing will reveal any dependencies on removal of the XML libraries.
Thank you. That makes sense. What would be the latest version that can be installed in this case. I see that MSXML 6.0 is only for servers? Or is it applicable for Windows 10 pro as well?

The MSXML 6.0 is good for any computer, including Windows 10 pro.

MSXML 3.0 & 6.0 are built-in OS components since Windows Vista
neither replace MSXML 4.0 (which itself is deprecated and unsupported, but still working)
