Azure SQL Managed Instance stuck in Provisioning state - 10 hours

We deployed a SQL Managed Instance. 10 hours later it's still provisioning. It usually takes 3-4 hours.

How can we force delete?

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A platform and thanks for using Azure Services.

    As I understand from the question, the Azure SQL Managed Instance is stuck in Provisioning State from over 10 hours, and you want to force delete it.

    This might be caused if the managed instance is created shortly after deleting a managed instance by the same name. Delete operation interferes with the create operation.
    This could be avoided by choosing an instance name that was different form the one deleted.

    There could be some other internal reasons too which could cause this stuck state of the MI.

    Regarding delete, could you please try below Azure CLI command:
