"windows security Microsoft edge, Microsoft edge is trying to show passwords. enter your Windows password to allow this", not working.
type in password it sits there for a moment then screen disappears. it used to work.

Looks like the Windows Security dialog crashes but not sure whether it only occurs in Edge. You can try elsewhere requiring an authentication in Windows Security dialog, such as other Microsoft Apps like Outlook. Additionally, you can log into a different account and try again.
