How do I adjust the volume of audio coming from sharing a video over Teams?

I have been able to share a video that includes audio over a Teams call. When having this call in a room, the volume level of callers in the meeting is set and sounds good, but when we share a video including audio (say from youtube) the audio is so loud it causes my speakers to compress and crackle. There is a significant disconnect on video sharing audio versus the audio of callers. Is there a way to lower the volume of the audio being shared so that we are not blowing our participants away on volume.

Note: I can obviously reduce the volume of the youtube video playing, but even when I set the volume to 1% on youtube's player - the volume is still significantly louder than any caller. It's almost like Teams needs a button to select if audio is coming from a MIC/LINE source similar to mixer input.

    Hi @Laudel, Evan

According to your description, I have the following questions to confirm with you:

    1. Do all attendees or specific users have such a problem?
    2. Does the web client have the same problem?
    3. Will there still be noise when you try to mute the system?

Audio quality will be based on the bandwidth of all parties joining the call/meeting, refer to this article to optimize your network:

Besides, if your computer is running a lot of applications, you may experience issues with sound quality, like lagging or cutting out. If this happens, closing other applications can help.

If you open the volume mixer and adjust the volume for the specific application there Teams will pick up the volume adjustment.
