Azure cloud shell stuck requesting sign in in learn.microsoft.com

I'm attempting to complete some of the AZ-900 training, but I am unable to use the cloud shell in the learn.microsoft.com portal.

It requested that I sign in (used my corp account), activated the subscription, and then activated the sandbox. So far, so good. The timer on my 1/10 daily sandboxes is displayed.

However, the right-hand panel that is meant to show the cloud shell says "Sign in with your account. If you're account isn't registered with a Learn profile, this process will complete it for you". I click sign-in, I'm prompted to select my account (corp, same as above). When I return, it shows a spinning wheel "signing in...", and then goes back to showing the "Sign in with your account" prompt. I'm stuck in this loop.

I've loaded up the azure portal and can see the resources have been activated. I've attempted clearing cache and site permissions, setting my browser profile to 'guest' and using an InPrivate window. All result in the same behaviour.

Any assistance in debugging this would be appreciated.
