Resize VM Advice

I would like to know if i resize my VM will it impact other resources of the VM like Hard disk, Memory, Network, IP Address and any other configuration. Any expert advice ?

    Hi @IT Professional ,

    Welcome on Microsoft Q&A.

    During VM resize process:

    • VM releases any dynamic IP addresses assigned to the VM.
    • The OS and data disks are not affected.
    • The VM will be connected to the same VNET.
    • New resources values will be associated to VM - explained by @Manu Philip

    If you resize the VM by selecting a different size available, all resources will be changed. An example shows below has different values for different resources. After resizing is completed, the VM will have new resources values associated with the selected size
