Microsoft Teams on AVD cannot shows contact info when move mouse cursor over user's profile picture

Hello guys,

I got feedback from user that Microsoft Teams on AVD cannot shows contact info when move mouse cursor over the user's profile picture.

Comparison with Microsoft Teams desktop client and Web client on physical laptop, when we move mouse cursor over the user's profile picture, normally there will appear contact info such as

  • Time zone of contact
  • Email address
  • Telephone
  • Location of contact

Microsoft Teams version:

  • Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.28567 (64-bit). AVD Media Optimized.
  • Remote Desktop WebRTC Redirector Service 1.17.2205.23001
  • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 14.32.31332.0

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue and has a solution to fix it?

    I would recommend you to provide this feedback of yours directly to the product engineering team on Azure Feedback Tool so that the Product Engineering team can directly check on this.

    Meanwhile, I am keeping a tab internally to see if anyone is facing similar issue.
