Prerequisite for Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.

Question

Hi there,

I would like to take the two exams to earn the certification Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and wanted to ask if the prerequisite option can be an expired certification. I did Modern Desktop Administrator Associate on 2019 and is now expired, should the PREREQUISITE OPTION be valid at the time in order to be able to earn the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. or it only has to be done?
