Limit appointments per day

Hello, I created a appointment form list using design path with sharepoint designer 2013. How can I limit the appointments to 2 appointments a day? Once two appointments are made for that day I want to have no more appointments to be scheduled. I would like a message to say no more appointments available

What list type are you using for appointment form list? Is there a workflow for it to create list items automatically every day?

In general, if you want to limit the new created list item to 2 every day, you could set a variable as "0", add 1 to the count every time you create an item. When the variable becomes "2", then pause the workflow until tomorrow.

If you have an existing workflow, you could also show it to me so that I could adjust it for you.
