Limits on VM NICs? and or FW help

I am asking this question because I have searched through many pages/blogs/MS documentation and cannot find what the limit of network cards you can add to a VM.

Reason for this is, I am using a firewall virtual appliance and the only way I can see to add more public IP's is to add more interfaces.
Our current in house version has nearly a full class C of IPs. Then as usual the routing is done behind the FW.
Anyone have a better way to do this when we move everything to Azure? or know the current limits?

    Hi,
Max nic count is provided for the VM's in this azure documentation.

Above document has the detail's for Dv2 and Dsv2 series under "General purpose" VM's.

Once you open that link, In the left pane, You will have list of available classes of VM's like General purpose, memory optimized, compute optimized etc.

Expand the one which you are interested in and select the series. Then on the right, you can find a tabular column for each vm series type.
In that look for the last column.
