Reuse windows server product key

Question

Hi. I have a product key to activate 24 copies of windows server 2022 (datacenter).

I installed 24 virtual machines and activated them.

Unfortunatly, i have te rebuild a few of them and reinstall windows server 2022.

How can i deactivate old copy of windows to reuse product key.

Hi

You dont need to desactivate for server activation, you get a high count usage for such scenario, the activation will work. If you get audited Microsoft check what is running at the moment of the audit too
