Authenticator App is not able to add work account

I am trying to add MFA for my work account in my Andriod phone (Samsung Galaxy S20, Android 12). It keeps getting error like - Unable to add user.
I have checked notifications/permissions, latest software version, turned off battery saving, restarted phone, but did not help. I added the same account in a redmi device, but I need it in my own phone.
What should I do to solve this issue?

Is this the first time you are trying to add your account to Samsung phone?

To check the exact cause of the failure you will have to check the authenticator app logs.

No, I have added both personal and work accounts on my phone. It is the first time I try to add my work account in the Authetificor app.
By default notifications are allowed and when I scan the QR code, it says - "unable to add the account, allow push notifications".
When I disable notifications, a pop-up appears saying - "Push Notifications are currently disabled. Go to Settings and allow the app to receive notifications", and when I click "Go to Notification Settings" - it says, "unable to find application to perform this action"

Resetting phone settings solved the problem (Settings -> General Management -> Reset -> Reset all settings).

2) Is MFA is configured correctly for your user account ? Kindly refer from below snapshot and let me know

As per your comments issue got resolved post resetting all settings in your phone.

Looks like issue was with one of the settings on your phone. May be the notifications for authenticator app was not enabled. If it was enabled and it was still not working, then you could have tried to disable it re-enable it again.
