Hi,
We have a software that sends an email with a link to a page in the email body. In Outlook Desktop the link is clickable, but in OWA the link is plain text, so it is impossible to click.

Is there any setting that makes the link to say in html and not be converted to plain text?

What program, script or language are you using to send the mail? There may be a setting that sets the body as HTML.

It’s very old. It allows us to view invoices in AS400. It’s called AOF. I can try to search on the software end. But why does the link apear ok in Outlook Desktop and not in Outlook Web?

No OWA still does not render plain text URLs as HTML links.

We recently migrated all staff from GSuite where this issue did not exist (nor does it exist on any other mail client I've used including Outlook on Desktop or Mobile). This is localized to OWA.

We receive hundreds of emails with plain text links per day from the justice dept' automated filing system - they are unlikely to modify their email template to suit us (despite it taking less than a line of code).

The staff are about to throw their computers out the window as they now spend half their day attempting to copy/pasting links rather than simply clicking them. This is leading to much frustration as many of the URLs are multiline and get broken when copied.

We do NOT want our staff to use desktop applications as we are going 100% cloud based.

REPEAT: NO OTHER EMAIL CLIENT HAS AN ISSUE RENDERING PLAIN TEXT URLS AS HTML LINKS

But then why does the link show as a proper link in Outlook Desktop? If I open the same email in Outlook web the link is ok.
Does Outlook Desktop treat Plain Text emails differently?

I did the relevant tests and the links sent in plain text can also be clicked in OWA.
Is it only when using the AOF software that there is a problem? Are all users having problems or some of them?

Does the problem occur only when using the software you mentioned? Besides the software you mentioned, do the links in OWA show up as plain text?
