You need to be sure that all recent updates are installed on all hyper-v hosts. Check in the control panel because I had the same situation as you and Windows Update in the settings showed me that all updates are installed and in the control panel I didn't see these recent updates ...... After manually installing the latest updates, I was able to connect to the Failover Cluster Manager.
Microsoft Failover Cluster having Error " hresult: 0x80070005 (e_accessdenied)"
Dear Support,
We have HPE 3 Servers, and we have a SAN.
We have configured Failover Cluster Manager configured among these Three Servers.
- HP-SRV1
- HP-SRV2
- HP-SRV3
Everything was working smoothly, until we installed windows updates on HP-SRV3 on Friday evening and restarted it couple of times for installation of the windows Updates.
Now the Failover cluster Manager Role on HP-SRV1 AND HP-SRV2 does not show the cluster anymore:
And When I try to manually add the cluster on HP-SRV1 AND HP-SRV2 , it gives following error:
But I can still see that everything is working fine on HP-SRV3 so far. Like I see failover cluster manger Functioning properly on HP-SRV3 and I can see that hp-cluster being shown here and HP-SRV1 and HP-SRV2 can be seen with roles. Take a look at Below Screenshot:
When I run the Cluster Validate Report. this is the Result.

Please guide me why the Servers HP-SRV1 and HP-SRV2 are unable to connect to cluster.

if you have Update (KB5014026) on the server with Issue, you need to Install (KB5015808) Update on the server.
