Adding Sharepoint Calendar to Outlook

Hi,

Few of our users trying to add Sharepoint Calendar to their Outlook. However none of our users are allowed to access/create new PST files. While trying to add sharepoint calendar to outlook it say since PST creation is not allowed it is not possible to add the calendar. Is there anyway to add sharepoint calendar without the need to have PST file created . Please note: Sharepoint is on premise.

As per my research, adding SharePoint Calendar needs to generate a .pst file. This is by default and I'm afraid there is currently no way to avoid this. I would suggest you post a feedback here: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/89a8afa3-2e1c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472.
