I am running windows 1903, updates infinite loop, installation media refuses to work.

Question

So recently I found out how broken my windows really is and it seems that to actually be able to repair my windows it needs to work first so what can I do?

When trying a clean install with installation media I keep getting error code 'The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase during INSTALL_UPDATES, 0x800F803 – 0x20003' ( I do not have developer mode).

When trying to update I get the 0x80080005 error code.

I also just tried the pure windows 10 update assistent and left my pc on for 10 hours and it never went past 30%

The troubleshoot doesn't work either, I have looked for 3 - 4 days now and tried everything.
I even bought another version of Windows which I now can not use...

Any help would be appreciated.

When trying a clean install with installation media

Sounds like you're not booting from install media. Might try changing boot order in cmos setup and try it again.
