I recently approved the Visual Studio Client Detector through WSUS. I believe it is KB5001148. This update broke my network management tool I use to deploy software updates on Windows 10.
The vendor indicates that the VSCD changed the "WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) call location". An uninstall of the Microsoft Visual Studio Setup WMI Provide update does not change back the WMI call location. Does anyone have an idea on how to manually fix this or how to restore the settings?

2022-11-10T14:22:59.25+00:00 Is there another thread that I can monitor/follow? I made several posts on this issue and no one has really idenfied all the changes. One forum user identified the registry changes but they were all HKCU settings. Has anyone documented all the changes that VSCD did?

2022-11-11T02:27:38.303+00:00 I don't know how to revert the changes VSCD made to computer. Perhaps we can fix the impact of VSCD on WMI by reinstalling WMI.
