i have windows server 2022 core edition - running vmware on esx host

single drive C

Capacity is 100GB with Unallocated 10GB

there are 3 volumes,

C - NTFS - 89.4GB

FAT32 - 96mb

NTFS - 83.4mb

how can i increase the C drive to expand by the 10GB unallocated

on other OS i have just used computer management snapin, and disk management

tried in Windows Admin Center and diskpart - not working

i assume, because there are 3 volumes on the disk, it can't expand the C drive to the unallocated space

but i need to expand it - please help

That's probably correct. You could backup the data on the other two partitions, delete them, do the extend, then add them back, otherwise look into some third-party tools.

i can't access the other partitions, they aren't assigned drive letters or anything as they are system
    Volume 1 - C - Boot
    Volume 2 - System
    Volume 3 - Hidden

Ok, understood. Your best bet is going to be some third-party tool if you cannot clean install it.

and hope it works and runs on server core - or over network
