Hi, I was hoping to use N-Series VMs, and I did the following when creating a VM: a) Selected the image "Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS" b) Clicked on a different region each time to see all available VMs in that region. However, I could not find any regions where N-Series VM sizes are available. I am wondering if I make any mistakes here. Could you please point me to the right direction? Thank you in advance!

Hi @Yanhong Li then it must depend on your subscription and/or maybe on your quota. For example I can (at least) see those kind of machines in my MCT subscription for West Germany Central What kind of subscription do you have? Student, MSDN, other kind of sponsored, company order your own PAYG subscription? In some sponsored subscription it is not allowed to deploy N-series, in a company sub it might be also forbidden by policy to select those kind of machine. Maybe you haven't searched or regions with a "wrong" filter or it is "not allowed" or blocked.

My subscription type is MCA (Microsoft Customer Agreement). It is not sponsored since it is for personal project.

Could you please elaborate a bit more on your last point? What do you mean by a "wrong" filter?

"wrong" filter means and those corresponding results... I / we don't know how you screen looks like, after you have filtered/selected your needs.

In my above screenshot you can see, I am using my "MCT subscription" for the region "West Germany" and get 4 N-sizes in the grouping "insufficient quota"... if I change my selection to another region "North Europe", I get a different result set:

So you can see, changing the selection (filtering) you might see different results / groupings... right now we don't know what you are seeing as a result set

As N-series in at least on or two sizes are available in all public Azure regions... you should be able to pick one size... so I must have something to do with a.) your subscription and/or b.) with your selection...
