Teams Restarts on Linux Mint whenever join call

Used fine for years, no recent updates. Now when joining a call it says "connecting..." before restarting the app and displaying the message "there was a glitch, we are recovering".
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, have used rm -r ~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft\ Teams to clear cache. Problem persists. Including on different unofficial apps

Have you tried to login Teams web client to see if this issue can be reproduced?
