MS Teams Manual Approvals not sending Email

Question

Hello, when generating a manual approval from MS Teams, it only send the approval to the teams app, and not through email.

Is this intended, or is there something I can do to fix?

We got update from engineering team that "This is the expected behaviour. Creating an approval request through MS Teams does not send an email notification."
