Hi,

we have the scenario:

Two DNS servers in the datacenter
Two DNS servers in Azure

What is the correct primary and secondary DNS configuration for the four servers?

Server 1 (Datacenter) - Primary DNS: Server 2 (Datacenter) / Secondary: Server 2 (Azure)
Server 2 (Datacenter) - Primary DNS: Server 1 (Datacenter) / Secondary: Server 2 (Azure)

Server 1 (Azure) - Primary DNS: Server 2 (Azure) / Secondary: Server 2 (Datacenter)
Server 2 (Azure) - Primary DNS: Server 1 (Azure) / Secondary: Server 2 (Azure)

Thank you.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Q&A!

In your envirnment, do Private DNS zones exist in Azure? If it exists,

Datacenter - Primary DNS: Server 2 (Datacenter) / Secondary: Server 2 (Azure)
Azure - Primary DNS: Server 2 (Azure) / Secondary: Server 2 (Datacenter)

The setting is correct. For more details, please refer to:
