Hello,
I have a customer for whom we are implementing Azure Virtual Desktop. One of the uses cases is for their developers to use AVD to replace miscellaneous old devices that are currently being used by the developers. One of the requests the developers have is the ability to run Docker and WSL.
These will be personalized desktops. They will be running Windows 10 20H2 as this is the version required by the customer.
We will run them on hardware that supports nested virtualization eg: Standard_D4s_v4
I believe it is supported on Azure (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/nested-virtualization-in-azure/) but would nested virtualization work and be supported in Azure Virtual Desktop?
Note the video referenced in the link above does not work for me.

Thanks and regards

    Hello,
thanks for the quick response. I agree it should be possible but thought I would ask in case there was a reason not to or somebody else had tried and failed. There is no definitive statement about it working and if its supported. So perhaps we just need to try it.

    Regards
