Windows 11 Upgrade Not Working On Supported Hardware

I'm trying to upgrade a Windows 10 VM to Windows 11 (part of the testing process for rolling out the update to others), but the PC Health Check and the Windows 11 22H2 ISO both say the processor is unsupported and the Feature Update isn't showing as applicable. The processor (Intel Xeon Gold 6252) is supported for Windows 11 according to Microsoft's list, available here Win11 Supported CPUs. I have a vTPM on the VM as well, it's only the processor that it's balking at. The VM is running on VMWare vCenter/vSphere version 7. Everything else (Secure Boot, EFI, disk space, etc.) checks out fine, it's only the CPU that is posing an issue. I've kind of hit a brick wall trying to figure out what's not working, so I'm hoping someone here will have an idea.

Also, WhyNotWin11 shows the VM's hardware as supported (including the CPU) as I was hoping it could give me more detail on the issue.

Any help would be appreciated, and please let me know if you need more info for troubleshooting.

Sounds good, if you can't get help from the vendor (VMWare) you can also start a case here with product support.

Most computers running Windows 10 can upgrade to Windows 11 in a supported or unsupported fashion.

Unsupported installations may not benefit from the improvements in performance, reliability, or security.
