I have gone through the SC 900 sample questions i.e. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/resources/sc-900-sample-questions?azure-portal=true
with the questions, even though it has one right answer, its written multiple choice. this does mean that answer has multiple choice to be selected as oppose to a single choice
this not only leave the test taker in conundrum but also question the way the questions are setup
was this deliberate or in error ?

which question you are referring to? as some of them indeed have multiple correct answers.
